A MURDER DRAMA OF CARTIER FAMILY

Position: Narrative, Designer

Concept Statement & Experience Goals: Elderly Care Facility aims to create a healing experience in which players build emotional connections with elderlies in the care facility to learn more about Grandma Ling, who passed away from Alzheimer's. The stories in the memories of Ling and her friends in the care facility will unfold as players interact with elderlies in each room. The narrative will end with the protagonist's reflections on her relationship with her granddaughter before she approaches her own death.

Game Introduction:

As you wander through the dim halls, admiring grotesque and bizarre artworks, a piercing scream shatters the silence. You rush to the source—only to find a woman in lavish attire lying in a pool of blood, her body cradled by a distressed man. A young man sobs in the corner. A teenage girl watches, stiff with shock. Then, from the void beside you, a chilling voice cries out: “The murderer!” — the ghost of the dead woman, and only you can hear her.

In this twisted whodunnit, you are not just an observer—you are the Investigator of Souls. The ghost cannot rest until justice is served, and it’s up to you to listen, look, and piece together the truth. Every painting, every whisper, every lie hidden in the splattered elegance of this gallery is a clue.

Among the suspects stands Rosie, also known in the underground world as Camellia—an unhinged genius, thief, and vengeful daughter, hiding secrets darker than the art on these walls. Her brother Aster, tender and broken, once found solace in her arms, until love collided with legacy and tragedy.

Was this murder revenge? Escape? Or justice long delayed?
