Echoes in the Rain
Director & Designer
Technical Design: This voice-reacted installation is aimed to create a space for people to memorize their loved ones by listening to their voice and the music they love. They can hide under the umbrella and digest their emotions alone. When the tears become rains, their deep missing is echoed by their loved ones in the heaven. In this space, grief finds its voice, and rain becomes remembrance.
Concept: Loss is the quiet companion of growing up — those moments too heavy for words, those names and faces we summon in silence. The passing of a loved one leaves a lifelong mist, a tender rain that never ceases, falling upon the heart like a soft, endless drizzle. Here, under a canopy of umbrellas, a small refuge takes shape — a space where it is safe to cry, where rain and tears blur into one, where the murmur of weeping dissolves into the sound of falling rain. Above, the sky listens.
